September 16, 2014 at Tri-County Baptist Church
Call to Order/Attendance

The Minutes of the Board of Trustees August meeting were approved.
Homeowner Requests/Concerns – Juan & Sara Ticala attended with their architect Edward Dill. They wanted to be available to answer any questions regarding their submitted Improvement Application.
Two other owners were in attendance to observe a Board meeting. One owner expressed concern about the lack of a traffic signal at the intersection of Beckett Road and Beckett Ridge Boulevard. He wanted to know if the Board could do something to have one installed. Dennis explained that Association had inquired about the installation of a signal at the intersection when the road was widened a few years ago. The County did not feel there was a need for a light.
Seven applications were submitted. The Board approved six of them including the one submitted by Mr. & Mr.s Ticala. The seventh application for a fence was denied because of the proposed location of the fence. Towne will notify all owners of the Board’s decision.
Bob Wilson gave the report. He reviewed the maintenance schedule and QSA report. Fall floral will be installed at the end of the month.
The Board reviewed and approved the current cash statement and delinquent status report.
The Board reviewed the logs from Towne Properties.
A. Board Resignation – Burt Young has submitted his letter of resignation effective September, 2014. The Board thanked Burt for his twelve years of service to the Board and the Beckett Ridge community. Russell DeVane was appointed to fill the remainder of Burt’s term.
B. Asphalt – Apex ran into an issue on Woodcliff. A catch basin at the end of Woodcliff was paved over at some point. Apex is working with Butler County Engineers to get the original plans and will excavate the area to see if the basin is intact. This additional work will delay the paving of Woodcliff.
C. Community Website – the contract for the new Towne-designed website was executed by Dennis. Towne will begin work on the new site immediately.
New Business – None discussed
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
